'Wow!'. That is, in summary, the first impression when you suddenly stand in front of this authentic Spanish VILLA via the driveway at the back. What a sight, that facade with arches and decorative moldings, the blue swimming pool, and the impressive palm trees around the house.

GROUND FLOOR Central hall 

The entrance has allure. A few steps up, and you enter the central hall with a gallery. The whole space is tastefully done in sand and white tones. Stylish is the staircase leading to a robust double wooden door. The bright and open hall provides access to various rooms. Everywhere, you'll find the same floor of beautiful sand-colored tiles that complements the (plastered) white interior walls so beautifully.

Living room First, let's explore the living room, where you immediately get a sense of home. Quiet tones are applied here as well. A remote-controlled gas fireplace is built into a large fireplace. Around this focal point of coziness, the seating area is arranged. The long dining table fits perfectly toward the semi-open kitchen. Part of the living room is separated from the hall by a glass wall with French doors. This unique construction connects spaces and people and also provides beautiful natural light.

KITCHEN & VERANDA 

The spacious, stylish kitchen, consisting of a substantial kitchen island (with a breakfast bar) and a cooking area, is designed in a modern-country style. It's a beautiful combination, with sleek solid wood fronts and an off-white composite countertop. Adjacent to the kitchen is a generous veranda. It's a stunning outdoor space with room for many people. Here, you can enjoy the green surroundings and the Montgó, the famous 'house mountain' of Javea.

Studio & Additional Bedrooms

As mentioned, a portion of the ground floor is set up for guests. If desired, they can be entirely self-sufficient here. Adjacent to the central hall mentioned earlier, there is a fully equipped studio available. Next to the studio, two more bedrooms with a bathroom can be found. "Anyone can cook here if they want. Well, you could just as easily dine out in Javea. We've considered renting out this part of the house before. But, well, you do compromise on some privacy. So, we decided not to." The two bathrooms on the ground floor are done in tranquil sand tones. Both have a walk-in shower, a vanity unit with a washbasin, and a toilet.

UPPER FLOOR 

Sleeping & Bathing 

This villa boasts an abundance of bedrooms. While we saw a total of two spacious bedrooms and a sitting/bedroom on the ground floor, the upper floor has three more spacious sleeping quarters. The slightly smaller washing room can potentially be used as a fourth bedroom. A stylish (shared) bathroom adjoins the wide landing. It features a double sink with a vanity unit, a walk-in shower, and a toilet. Truly contemporary in every way. The generous master bedroom comes with an ensuite (private) bathroom, also equipped with a double sink with a vanity unit, a walk-in shower, and a toilet. Of course, it's designed in the same style, but with an extra feature: electric underfloor heating. Double French doors in this spacious sleeping area open onto a fantastic covered terrace that offers a view of the Jávea lighthouse.

Office 

Also on the highest floor is an elegant office. It features a mighty natural stone fireplace with an open gas fireplace. "After a few difficult early years, the internet service is now perfect. That means you can work wonderfully from here. We experienced that during the pandemic." There is more than enough space for a substantial desk and a seating area. It's convenient for hosting business associates. The office is equipped with an XL TV screen. The adjoining covered terrace is directly accessible. But for the record: if you don't need an office, this space could easily be set up as a bedroom.

Pure enjoyment from the spacious 'naja' 

The 'naja,' or indoor covered terrace with arches that extends across the entire front of the villa, is delightful. This generous space is separated from the stairwell by a glass wall. It's fantastic how you can sit in shelter here, with a magnificent view of the landscape around Jávea, including the 'house mountain' Montgó and a small piece of the Mediterranean Sea.

OUTDOOR LIVING 

Outdoor Kitchen, Pool, Tennis Court 

Being outdoors is what you want in a country like Spain, right? While some never get enough of the sun, others prefer to seek shade. This can be done in the sturdy wooden canopies on either side of the pool. "We also had an outdoor kitchen built, in the same hacienda-style. That was a wish of ours." The spacious outdoor kitchen, located next to the villa, is equipped with an XL barbecue and two gas burners. And, of course, a sink area. Guests can gather around a large wooden table. The outdoor kitchen also has a cozy lounge area where you can relax.

The pool, complete with an outdoor shower, speaks for itself: a must in Spain. The blue pool is surrounded by a broad edge of light-colored natural stone. Plenty of space for sunbathers. It's a place with a lot of privacy, set against the backdrop of palm trees and the authentic Spanish facade of the villa. And then, in the 'backyard,' there's a tennis court. Sports on your own property, indeed.

Tropical Fruits from the Garden 

We mentioned the impressive palm trees earlier. With the various fruit trees on the extensive plot around the mansion, the Spanish picture is complete. Lemons, oranges, figs, pomegranates. "Picking oranges together with the grandchildren, they love that. It's also quite special, of course. And from the lemon harvest from our own garden, we make limoncello every year."

Secure Living 

The fully fenced plot is accessible from both the front and back through a remotely controlled electric gate. There is surveillance cameras and an alarm system that connects to a professional security company. "Well, it's there. But honestly, we find it a bit unnecessary. It's just so safe here!"
