Holidays in Javea

Javea is located in the north of the province of Alicante, between Valencia in the North and Alicante in the South, both cities have international airports located about 100 km.

Javea has one of the most varied landscapes of the Costa Blanca, consisting of a few kilometres of coves, sandy beach, cliffs of singular beauty and natural landscapes like the Montgo. Among all the natural attractions of the Javea coast, it is worth highlighting the exceptional panoramic views that can be discovered from the Miradores Road.

The Montgó massif, which forms the natural park, is the most remarkable peak of the landscape and at the same time protects from storms coming from the North. These conditions create a privileged microclimate, and for this reason Javea enjoys an average temperature of between 18 and 24 degrees.
We can identify in Javea three points of interest very different from each other.
The area of the old town where you can find different quality restaurants, shops, covered market (municipal market) and visit the church of San Bartolomé.
In the direction of the port, you will find the beach of Grava which is prolonged by its pleasant walk, its bars and its restaurants. A visit to the fish market is required to buy fresh fish of the day and observe the work of the fishermen.
Leaving the port, towards the Arenal beach, you will arrive on a beautiful promenade that runs along the beach of Benissero or Montañar I. This beach whose water is crystalline is composed of rocks. The closest part of the Arenal is characterized by the fact that it is composed of a stone called Tosca, a stone once used in construction. In summer, this beach becomes an area of beach bars where you can admire the sunset and have a good time with family or friends.
The Arenal Beach is the only sandy beach with full equipment for recreation, water activities, and a wide variety of restaurants

Going south, you will find different coves of singular beauty such as Cala Blanca, Cala del Portitxol or La Barraca and finally La Granadella, one of the most beautiful coves in Spain.

The excellent climate and its privileged geographical situation make Javea an ideal place for holidays in all seasons.
